Job Title: Project Manager - Carbon offset projects

Location: New Delhi or Pune

Role Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated professional to join our founding team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the carbon project development space in India. As a project manager, you will you will spearhead the management, analysis, and development of carbon offset projects from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement high-quality carbon offset projects with our project developer partners.
• Complete responsibility of development and maintenance of carbon offset projects, including managing the required documentation.
• Engaging with VVBs, LongStraw carbon’s methodology team and other stakeholders during the development of the project

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the carbon offset project development and oversight space (ideal relevant experience of 3 to 5 years).
• Hands on experience of managing the full lifecycle of carbon offset projects, including data management, documentation, reporting and compliance.
• Degree in environmental science, sustainability, business, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced startup environment.
